Prelight
Beautifully smooth wrapper with a light musty aroma. No soft spots and a good feeling weight.
First third
Slightly tight draw with smooth grassy and tobacco flavor. There is a cedar and very light anise aftertaste. Very light flavors at this point and the draw tightens up a bit more. The draw eventually loosens up around 1″ where rich chocolaty flavors and a light sweetness come through. There is also a substantial mocha aftertaste at this early of a spot.
Second third
Smooth and creamy tobacco, chocolate, and leather flavors in the smoke followed by a slightly spiced and rich mocha aftertaste. Also hints of roasted nuts and sweetness. Very consistent throughout this third.
Last third
Amazing flavors continue to develop. Luxurious creamy smoke delivering deep and rich flavors. Chocolate, mocha, spices, caramel, and cinnamon are all present in varying degrees. Finishes with a wonderfully smooth smoke and long aftertaste.
Conclusion
This is a wonderful smoke. Complex flavors evolving through the cigar and delivering a delicious finish. Highly recommended!
