Size – 5″ x 52
Shape – Petite Belicoso
Wrapper – Cameroon
Binder – Dominican Republic
Filler – Dominican Republic
Prelight
Very smooth and shiny wrapper. Light tobacco aroma with hints of cedar.
First third
Effortless draw. Light tobacco flavors punctuated with hints of cedar. Also giving hints of spice. Semi dry tasting smoke which smooths out fairly quickly to produce a creamy mouth feel. Great burn on this cigar.
Second third
The smoke turns very creamy at this point. Also giving an ample amount of sweet notes on the palate with a short and smooth aftertaste of tobacco and caramel. Still with very light hints of spice.
Last third
Still maintaining the very smooth mouth feel. Flavors of tobacco, caramel, and chocolate are all present. Firm ash. Buttery mouth feel with a long deep mocha finish.
Conclusion
This was an excellent cigar with a mild to medium body. The flavors, while staying mostly consistent, evolve in complexity throughout the smoke leading up to a terrific finish. Recommended!
