Pretty rough appearance on this stick. One pronounced vein. Splotchy wrapper. It was firm with no soft spots.
First third
Initial draw had ample smoke. Primarily tobacco flavor but with a lot of complexity. Flavors were present which I couldn’t quite put my finger on. Very smooth smoke leaving a creamy texture on the palate. The ash was quite flaky and fell quickly. Quite spicy on the nose exhale. Some notes of a smooth and delicious cedar taste coming through.
Second third
Tobacco, cedar, and coffee flavors emerge. Staying very smooth with just a hint of mocha aftertaste. Picks up in strength of flavor near the end of the third. Strong aftertaste of tobacco and leather paired with the light mocha flavors.
Last third
Flavors continue to evolve in complexity and strength picks up. Still staying very smooth and delicious. Great burn and draw throughout.
Conclusion
A great smoke full of complexity. Recommended!
